Khoo Wei Min was first introduced to the viola by Tham Kok Yin. As a tutti violist in PESSOC (Penang State Symphony Orchestra and Chorus) from 2007 to 2010, she was further encouraged by Jascha Y. Shimano to perform actively on the viola. It was then that she decided to take up viola lessons under Lo Mei Yoke. Currently, she studies the viola with Toko Inomoto. She performed in Japan with Ensemble Koschka in 2013 and has also been performing with Kester String Quartet since 2012.
